In the summer of 2003 the members of DROWN decided - after having played in 3 years and having great success without doing much - that focus has to be on one thing: DROWN! Since then a material of over 20 old songs have been rearranged, 15-20 new songs composed and 5 recorded. Many gigs are under way, as the band prepares to conquer Denmark and possibly Sweden, Poland, and Germany! This made possible through a management deal with an agency, which has delivered and promoted the latest rock successes in Denmark to the media and record industry (Grand Avenue & Carpark North)!
DROWN has won prizes in several music contests; one in competition with over 380 other bands – celebrated as “A Star of Tomorrow” and published on a compilation in 2002, close to signing with Mega-Records and the acclaimed producer Kjeld Wennick – another reaching the final only 1 year after the band united!
