Enuom starts in January of 2002, although this statement is not entirely true. The creativity has been compiling since five years previous. It's a sound that puts no set boundaries on itself, except for the fact that you won't be hearing any rap, country, simplemindedness, etc, seeping through. It has nothing to do with the latest trend or flavor of the week syndromes. You have real music coming from real musicians.
Steve and Justin start the jamming and brainstorming in 95. They have jammed with various combinations of players, but could never reach the right chemistry to help carry out the vision. Finally (seven years later) they connect with Doug and Sonny to create the solid lineup, and everyone's happy. Most of the music's structure (at the moment) is designed to hold up without a vocal to carry it. There is usually constant movement with very little breathing room. The music and lyrics are just little snapshots in time. Lyrically, Enuom deals with opinions and angles (1st to 3rd person) on various events whether they might be personal, political, or fictional. The sound is not, as of yet, a complete focused vision, in other words, it's extremely open minded.
