Idioterne starts running on September 2002 with the entry of the new drummer from Marbella (Juan). Lively and creative, Juan impels qualitatively the band’s creation.
Soon, they record a bunch of songs and shape their anxieties in several performances around the capital (Madrid). After a year, they win a demo contest to play on the international festival FESTIMAD, with bands like Audioslave or Marylin Manson. This gives them the opportunity to be known to a great public. They also supported bands like Dover and Deluxe.
The sound of the band is directly influenced by the hard sounds that exploded in the 90’s, and by punk and rock bands from the 70’s. Their compositions are built over simple vocal melodies, a mix between pop and rock. Dynamic and aggressive live shows, and a lot of sweat.
