Dwine was thought of in 2001 by the brothers Palle and Persha Svensson from Koping - Sweden.
Their dream was to have a band where they both could experiment and develop their talents.
The brothers started talking about forming a new "kickass band with rocking tunes stuffed with guitars, melodies and harmonies" (as the band basically sounds today). They decided to walk away from their current band and start the new band. And they did, with Bassplayer "Slappin'" and drummer "Becke" who connected to Dwine in Febuary 2003 after they had listened through a CD of 12 demo-songs, possible Dwine songs.
