Consequence of Change was formed by Ryan McCarthy(Lead Guitar), Jordan DeMaida(Bass Guitar) and Bill Royle(Drums) in the summer of 2002. Through several lineup changes and many shows, Consequence of Change have gotten there live chops in shape.
With the additions of lead vocalist Nicole Jones and rhythm guitarist Sean Albert in 2006, Consequence of Change finally found their permanent line up. While Consequence of Change is still a young band, they have shared the stage with some bonafide music stars. They have opened for Jimmys Chicken Shack on two separate occasions, Joey Belladonna of Anthrax, Theory of a Deadman, Breaking Benjamin, Stroke 9, The Exies, Marky Ramone, RA, Murphys Law, The Loudness, and Beautiful Creatures. Thats quite an impressive resume for a band whose oldest members are only 21.
Consequence of Change has also seen there share of venues. They have played The Webster Theater main stage several times and have become regulars of the Webster Underground. They have played shows at The Space in Hamden, Terminal Sound in Waterbury, The Empress Ballroom in Danbury and The Worchester Palladium for The Next Big Thing local music fest.
So what does the future hold for Consequence of Change? A new album will be released in the winter of 2006. After that, the band will begin to look for independent label interest to distribute their next release. After that, its back on the road to play more shows and reach more fans. They hope to play the New York market this summer along with Connecticut and Massachusetts. We hope to see you there.
