When asked to describe his music, JiG will tell you that his sound is a fusion of pop, rock and soul, with an urban flavor. His band is a group of seasoned musicians who joined forces in order to put together the most successful school tour in Michigan history. Now with over 60 schools under their belt, they are touring all over Michigan creating vastly diverse fan base of all ages. JiG's smooth falsetto falls perfectly on live drums and his raspy natural tone has a sex appeal that only the ladies can appreciate…….and for the fellas, his hard hitting drum tracks, as evident on his fella favorite “Grown Man” will demand they keep a copy of his CD in their ride.
As a background dancer turned singer 6 years ago, one element seems present in every song he has recorded: dance. JiG has been pegged one of the best choreographers in Michigan. While touring with the Clark Sisters, the Teens of Comedy, and Fred Hammond, his dynamic moves and unique dance concepts captivated audiences night after night. As a way to give back to his community, he has volunteered to teach kids dance for 3 years.
Currently JiG is planning to release a 7 song EP with his high powered joints “U Messed Up” and “Rock Star Klap” as the featured singles; both produced and co-written by one of Detroit’s hottest producers, Squeeze. His production company, B Squeezy Productions, is strategically planning a regional radio promotion campaign, as well as street and club promotions in the respective markets. JiG will remain in artist development for the rest of his career, because he believes, “you can always improve your craft.”
One of JiG’s biggest attributes are his stunning good looks and amazing sense of style. In an industry where consciousness of image is omnipresent, he definitely has the “look.” His appealing image will allow him to be thrusted upon the world stage and captivate female music listeners around the globe. With the total package, its only a matter of time before the world falls in love with it’s newest heartthrob, JiG.
