Skambiance started up in September 2002 as a 7-headed ska-band, with three horns (trumpet, alt and bariton sax) and a rhythm section comprising piano/synth, guitar, bass and drums. In the course of the two years skambiance grew bigger with the arrival of 2 trombonists, a percussionist and a second guitar player... This huge band is THE guaranty for a big fiesta. We bring our own repertoire supported by some good covers, respecting the tradition but also creating a fourth generation of new ska.

This summer skambiance did a lot of gigging. We hit the clubcircuit and we hit it hard. We played in major Belgian cities like ghent, Roeselaare, leuven, aalst,.. When Skambiance’s on stage, there is only one thing that matters: making the crowd go mad. This is what we do and we like it.

During this winter we will be working hard on our first album, which is expected in springtime. After that, we’ll be ready for another boiling summer filled with new live shows to bring the skavibe to you!
