Willem and I were in a band, but it splitted early 2005. Although I had seen it coming it still shocked me, and it felt like the end of my music. Since music took an important place in my life I wanted to continue makin' music, but this time I wanted it my way, and so I wrote some lyrics, came up with a name (which was formed by some of my poetry, a sort of short story/poem bout a guy who died of hearteache The last line was Heartbeat : Zero, and I really liked that line, so I used it for the band.) so now I needed members. I really, really liked Willy and so I asked him if hed like to jam with me, just for fun, and so we did, and it felt good. And I asked him if he'd like to be a part of my new band/project thingy. He agreed. I never really expected he would, but hey, he's one hell of a kickassdrummer, so I'm not complainin.
The last part of the band. My girlfriend, Nathalie, wanted to play bass, so we bought her one, and I wanted all of her seksiness in the band. Astonishingly she progressed in an awesome way; she learned quite quickly how to play it and months later the band had already finished quite a lot of songs. Now we're stronger than ever and ready to go to the studio for the creation of our first EP.
