We are a funky jamband with a bluesy twist. Formed in July of 2005, The Hammocks have become a standard for some of Albuquerque's best laid back joints. The band sprouted from different backgrounds of music including, The Grateful Dead, Phish, Widespread Panic, Talking Heads, The String Cheese Incident, STS9, Bob Marley, Bob Dylan, The Beatles, Neil Young, Younder Mountain String Band, Ween, and Elvis Presley.
