Prob C and the DH (Disfunktional Hipnotik) is a collection of talented musicians that have created a diverse musical synthesis, not yet categorized by today's mainstream catalog, incorporating many different genres of music. Headed by the accomplished Chicago emcee, ProbCause, the group evokes a hip-hop exterior but trancsends traditional hip-hop standards. The bass driven compositions of Greg Nordholm accompanied by the funky chord progressions conjured up by Alex Braun lay down the perfect backdrop for the rhythmic complexity of Jonathan Meacham's drumming, typically not heard in a hip-hop formatted group. With a unique range of Funk rooted Rhythms, Jazzy vibes, and Hip hop head nodders, the fusion of these musical genres results in a unique sound that baffles critics and seduces fans.
