The band’s music is a reflection of its diverse background. The EBB and The Flow fuses many styles into its eclectic brand of Hip-Hop including funk, pop, jazz and Latin rhythms. The instrumentalists lay down a dynamic musical platform for the frontman and Emcee, The Flow, and the vocalists. Their musical and lyrical expertise combines crowd-moving grooves and social commentary to provide a thought-provoking and energetic experience.
The band has worked hard to create not only one of the strongest followings on campus but also a thriving local music community. They draw on the native talents of their environment, and at a show you can expect to find anything from a Latin violinist to an accomplished jazz vibraphonist to additional MC’s joining the band onstage. Today The EBB and The Flow continue to push the limits of what Hip-Hop can achieve.
