“Pretty Pure” is the brainchild of Lasse (vocals & guitar) and Lukasz (drums) who see themselves as purveyors of raw, authentic and honest music. Lasse and Lukasz came together almost a year ago with a mutual animosity towards the mass-produced, soulless music permeating radio waves around the world. After a feeling out process, Lasse and Lukasz became a well oiled machine pumping out a dirty thick sludge of tasty rockness, which they, being men of posterity, had the presence of mind to record. The guys started out jamming together in a forgotten old room in a church directly beneath its altar. There they busted out crunchy riffs and sonic jams without needing to rehearse. Their pure style of improvisation eventually earned them the label “the first-take band.”
The “Pretty Pure” songwriting creative process is fueled by blues-based jams. Their “songs” are the verbatim recreation of these sessions. Their sound can no longer be confined to church rooms and 2-inch tape…their rock is bursting at the seams primed to tap into the public’s psyche. Lock the door, notify your next of kin and put your daughters to bed. These boys rock. Hard.
