After a chance meeting by a local guitarist who was attempting to start a band, Jeff (The Boss) Blumenthal and Chuck (Luscious Lips) Danas decided to start a Clapton band with the possibility of adding originals.. Jeff brought in his other half, a bass player and longtime friend , Dave (The River) Whitney. Jeff, being a resourceful drummer, introduced Chuck to his other freind, (Rock Hard) Ron Pitkin. A ripping guitarist. Then, to add icing on the cake, Ray Ray (500 Calorie) Schneller who wails like a wildcat! with an axe was brought in as a second guitarist.
As the band started gelling songs were original introduced, rearranged and tightened. So there you are, in a nushell, Muddy Johnson
