The soft,airy vocals and flute-playing of Bix mix with the down-tempo electronic beats, and new wave influenced bass-playing of Peter Clasen. The songs, sung mostly in French, have already made Bix Medard a CMJ fan-favorite. The band climbed their way up to number 32 on the CMJ charts this past April 2009. (CMJ : College Music Journal)
During the summer of 2009 Bix Medard worked on remixes that were used during the latest Y-Dress? (Why dress?) fashion shows. These remixes bring out the more electro-dance feeling in the Bix Medard tunes.
November 2009; the second Bix Medard CD; "Y-dress?" is premiered in Tokyo, Japan.
