We are 'funkrock - fusionists' from Amsterdam. Founded in march 2009, we decided to adopt the name 'mondegreen', which is the term for the mishearing or misinterpretation of a word or sentence in a song. This doesn't mean that our music is full of mondegreens. On the contrary, we play dynamic funkrock with catchy choruses, in which we sing about a girlfriend with eight crates of barbies to raising tensions in an english pub or just the joy of feeling good for no reason. In short, about everything that amazes, surprises, irritates and fascinates us. After spending some time in rehearsal, we are now ready to show ourselves. It is time to send the crowd home after a gig, knowing that 'eight crates back, years together and that is all she wants' is still echoing in the back of their heads...
