Five Roses e il loro Hard Rock

The Five Roses were born the 1st April 2007 by an idea of Edoardo Menchicchi (singer) and Andrea Pontremoli (bass-player). They wanted to play the music they love and increase the number of live shows too. Especially about the Edoardo’s voice skills they thought to form a Guns n’ Roses Tribute Band. The drummer Luca Cottini liked the project and enjoy the band. With the first line-up the Five Roses played everywhere in a one year and an half tour around Central Italy. They proposed classic
GnR track-list during electric and appreciated shows.
Since January 2009 the band included two new guitar-players: Giacomo Ghezzi, who’s studying at the
Lizard Music Academy in Florence, and Simone Vinerbi, a 70’s rock lover and sound-engineer.
Accordingly with a increasing popularity, the band decides to write some own songs influenced by
monster acts like Aerosmith, Led Zeppelin and The Rolling Stones, also after the request to listen to
original tracks by producers and labels.
During December 2009 the band releases “Promo 2009”, a 4-track demo-cd including:

2. Set me free
3. Everybody got to know
4. Real life (is kickin’ you down)
