Fire Wizzard e il loro Heavy Metal

FIRE WIZZARD was born in the late 2005, as Thor and Axxel wanted to work together. The band consisted then of Thor Matt Neldor (guitar/vocals), Axxel Berg (bass, keyboards, vocals), a drummer and a second guitar player. In those times was created the song "Fire Wizzard", which is still played live and may be recorded one day.
In September 2007, Arthur and Haedwar join Fire Wizzard respectively as the second guitar player and the keyboards player.
In January 2008, the album "Sons of the Dragon (part 1)" is recorded, but the band unfortunately has to get rid of its singer and author, Morris Black, whose singing style, which is very progressive, does not match Fire Wizzard's current style. Axxel, Thor and Haedwar consequently take the singing.
2009 saw the coming of two new members, indeed Axxel Berg leaves the band and his position to Raph, and another Axel becomes the new drummer.

Recently, Fire Wizzard played at the Localfest in Marseille with many well-known bands.
A tour with A.C.O.D is planned for 2010.

The band is currently working on its next album, promising big stylistic changes, as the new songs are more heavy/Pagan Metal oriented, with lyrics in the spirit of "Battle of Falkirk" (playing on this page). If you liked Battle', you will love the coming stuff.
