Originally conceived as a mid '60's UK garage rock band the idea was for short punchy songs and a vox continental. This evolved when we started to jam in rehearsal. Short punchy songs were drawn out slightly, guitar breaks included and once the sound gelled, the band never felt the need to expand beyond it's original three members. We all know intuitively when and what to play and more importantly when and what not to play. With this in mind, writing and recording has been a real pleasure for The Sonic Jewels. Most of an album has been written, funded, recorded and mixed by ourselves and we're really proud of it. The Sonic Jewels live is an experience and we pride ourselves on it being a different experience every night. We are a really good live band who listen to each other and love to put on a good show.
