Ibn Ghalad is a german Heavy Metal band whose roots lie in all the misty fantasy regions there are. Be it Middle Earth, the Dragonlance Saga, the Drizzt legend or even northern mythology - there is a song for every occasion.
If there is a myth or a legend about something, there is a song worth to be sung about it.
The band was founded way back in the 90's under the worktitle "Dark Redeemer" which was changed later to "Ibn Ghalad" (arabic Ibn for "Son" and elvish Ghalad for "Light/Tree"). Ever since the main theme for songs were legends of long gone events, fantasy sagas and elements of northern mythology.
With the debut EP "The Mountain" in 2004 and the follower "The Forest at twilight" in 2008 Ibn-Ghalad has already two releases made all by themselves.
