Consisting of singer-song Tim F. Budde,
twin-rythm-guitarist Matthias U. Renneke,
uni-instrumentalist\percussionist Kalle "Florian" Kaleun and
progress-evil demon-bassist (as if) Philbert " " Raps,
this lovely bunch of suspects lands somewhere between the amateur charm of wanna-be punks
and the big (or minor) ambitions of the classic rockstars from bygone eras,
dwelling in this harrowing place with restless unease.
If asked, the band "The Sigourney" would be hard-pressed to categorise their sound, because collectively the four only
know a handful of adjectives, but a helpful journalist once described thm as "New Rock" and if anyone knows what that means,
please contact the band asap!
Of note were their stunning performance at a sweet gig in berlins "Schokoladen", wooing many middle-aged men with raw sex,
and the "Your-Gig"-Bandcontest, where sadly, "sigourney_band" was too dumb to cheat at the voting, cause that sure as hell
would have worked.
