Les 3 musiciens de Jerry T. & the Black Alligators se sont retrouvés autour du blues le plus brut du Delta du Mississippi et du Chicago Blues. Le premier album est une invitation sur les routes du blues acoustique. Quand le second album est une envolée éclectique et électrique. Sur leurs propres morceaux, le talent de la section rythmique des Black Alligators n'a d'égale que le son de la guitare brulante et la voix et chaleureuse de Jerry T. !

The First Album will take you down the roads of the Mississippi and to the Roots of the Blues. A simple duet Guitar/vocals and a Blues Harmonica. 10 compositions and 4 cover of the blues classics. A few notes of electric guitars to show the evolution of the sound from the Delta until it comes to the Big City.
Which lead to us logically to the second album, this time reinforced with the Black Alligators, the rhythm section with much talent, and a few more guests at the guitar and at the harmonica to add some shades to our blues. Some Brit blues influences, some Chicago Style, and a drop of Delta pure Blues, here we are with 9 songs, compositions only. Let's stop and be at ease right next to the swamp, and let's share the stories of the blues, weman who are going away, Johnny who wanted to meet the devil, and the Headless and heartless man that has become our society...
Down by the Swamp morceau Eponyme au titre de l'album est notre blues le plus classique, dans la lignée des Red House, Texas Flood, et the Sky is Crying. Composition du groupe disponible sur le second album. Taillé pour le live ce morceau laisse place à une grande part d'improvisation et de feeling entre les membres du groupe.
