After releasing their first CD, New Moon, in 2001, the indie-rock/pop-punk band FILTERED cycled through a number of drummers whilst playing gigs all over the UK and gaining radio airplay in the UK, US, Germany and Holland. Soon after Nick Gipson joined on drums in September 2002, a three track EP, Nicotine and Tar, was recorded. The three-piece have since played gigs on the London circuit and a couple of dates in Birmingham and Leicester. They were interviewed on US radio in Jan 2003 and have recently been offered a publishing deal. Their first Scottish dates are being planned, as are some European shows, due in 2004.
