STARSEVEN e il loro Melodic Punk Rock

STARSEVEN is a melodic punkrock band from northern Italy founded in may 2001. The group consists of four members who are roughin'up the music scene with fast rythmus, hard riffs and three voices. The four musicians are living and rocking in Bozen, a city in South Tyrol in the middle of the Italian alps. Actually STARSEVEN is: ALEX ZELGER (voice, guitar), ANDREAS PAOLI (voice, bass), PAUL PFEIFER (voice, guitar) and CHRISTIAN BAUMGARTNER (drums).
After some selfproducted demo-cd the Italian punklabel "EVILPIG CORPORATION" took the guys under their wings and they immediately started recording and publishing their first maxi Single "FOOT ON THE PEDAL" which includes 6 songs. Thanks to this fist album they went ahead with their great ascent into the Italian and European Streetpunk-scene and they had some regional and national acts and bigger festivals with DONOTS, LIQUIDO and 4 LYN. In the same year in October STARSEVEN had a successful promotion-tour around East Germany. They convinced fans and promoters and so concerts in Hamburg, Stuttgart and Munich were following. A DVD about this tour was produced, which was reason for a lot of guest appearences in local radio stations.
At the beginning of the year 2003 the two punk-compilations of FRIDGE RECORDS and "PUNK E CONTAMINAZIONI 2" with national and international bands released with songs of STARSEVEN and gigs in Germany and Italy followed. Summer 2003 they released the new demo-single "My money back" which got many good reviews on national and international punkzines and lokal press. Also a viedeoclip is planed to produce for this great song.
Jannuary 2004 STARSEVEN will finish their new demo-album with 11 new songs.
