Releasing their debut album, Knuckle Sandwich in April of 2003 and playing numerous shows to promote it,
MAXLIDER has combined their original music with strategically chosen cover songs to create their signature
energy driven show and has become one of Illinois’s most entertaining, hard working and hard rocking bands.
As a result, Knuckle Sandwich has sold over 1000 copies in less than eight months!
A remake of Blondies’s Rapture, Never, Wither and Die, and the title track, Knuckle Sandwich, have been constant
requests on radio stations around Illinois and have earned MAXLIDER the opportunity to be these station's
favorite choice to perform at large events they organize and promote.
Late in 2003, MAXLIDER added a completely new rhythm section, bringing greater dimension to their original
music. The new and improved MAXLIDER has plans to return to the recording studio in March 2004 to begin
their sophomore effort. The new album promises more of the hard rocking, gut-wrenching and energy driven
songs heard on Knuckle Sandwich as well as a number of songs showcasing the musical evolution, talent and
growth of MAXLIDER over the past year.
