We mix techno beats with live rock music at clubs around Chicago. Our hobbies are gardening, home arts and S+M. I especially like whipping people with vegetables. We started out as rock musicians. One night, however, I was standing this close to the speakers at a dance club when it hit me. "THE PLODDING, OVER-USED ROCK BEAT IS DEAD. ROCK NEEDS A NEW BEAT." The new beats are coming from all forms of electronic and dance music. That is when we started spinning techno beats under live rock music. I enlisted Matt Walker, 2nd drummer for THE SMASHING PUMPKINS and FILTER. I recruited Saul Schneider, bassist for the JAMES IHA BAND and we went to work in the studio. The result was "Get Your Pleasure", a hybrid of techno and rock which was got a lot of airplay on Chicago's Q101. We had live drums, bass, guitar and electric violin. My love for techno kept developing and my newest song, "Seven", is all programming, baby--and live vocals. I learned to write songs as a rock musician and now am able to write actual tunes using techno beats and sounds. We LOVE it. If you're ever in Chicago, look for us and come shake your butt.
