Risk of Faith, formerly known as Counterstitch, is from Sandwich,IL and have been together for about three years. Over those three years they have played all over the chicagoland area and surrounding states including Milwaukee Metalfest 2002 and a number of shows in Eau Claire, WI. Risk of Faith has been influenced by many bands but mainly Pantera, Slayer, Superjoint Ritual, Six Feet Under, Soulfly, Hatebreed, Machine Head, Down, Alice in Chains, Fear Factory etc etc.
