Nag Shampa, groupe noisy post rock formé en 2000, est influencé par Pixies, Pavement, Deus, Mogwai, The Cure, Joy Division et surtout Sonic Youth.

Les chansons de Nag Shampa sont plus construites comme des collages d'ambiances et des superpositions de sons alternant mélodies hypnotiques et déflagrations sonores que comme des chansons au format habituel couplet refrain .
