The Universe is not big enough! Omnipresent drive electric shockwaves’ through you as if they were a bolt of lightning striking to boost your chi. Jimmy Beattie, guitarist for Omnipresent, states’ “The name is based on the musical inclination of the band and the wide array of influences. We play straight from the heart and the music is so open that we feel we are never limited to where we can go and what we can achieve.” Ryan Kennedy, bassist, adds “Omnipresent is not an assembly of individuals, we all come together to act as one. Music is just orchestrated better that way” he adds. Kevin Smith, drummer puts the icing on the cake by implying “It’s a lifestyle. Not just the music however, the time, the practice, the promoting it’s how we live, we live through all of this and it all comes from inside where emotions run deep and our true talent is found.” Omnipresent were bonded together in 2004 with longtime band-mates Jimmy Beattie and Ryan Kennedy, who have played together in many bands together including; Troubled Youth, Mutter, and Market Square Time Bomb just to name a few, decided they wanted a genre of music that broke all the rules and had a taste of all influences surrounding them, a style that would not confine them to just any one style. Having influences such as Dreamtheater, Pantera, Yngwie Malmsteen, Rush, Dredg, Dave Matthews, Steve Vai, Led Zeppelin, and Black Sabbath just to name off the top of their head, leaves such a huge gap of musical variety to fill that some would say is impossible to accomplish. Not anymore, Omnipresent seal the deal with extraordinary guitar work by Jimmy Beattie, Smooth and innovative bass lines written by Ryan Kennedy, and technical delivery from drummer Kevin Smith. Ladies and Gentlemen take a minute to soak up what you are about to indulge in, this is no simple design, this is an everlasting machine known as Omnipresent.
