Powervibe is exactly what the name suggests and even more. This is hard rock with an essense of electricity and pure energy that is cast into every audience the band performs for and in every song they attack.. Their absolutely nuclear debut, self titled, 5 song cd sets the bar for a new beginning on the east coast of the US rock scene from 4 musicians that are set to shake the ground beneath us all.
This band brings together former members of some very well known rock groups:
Beau Bodine (bass guitar and backing vocals) who’s credits include Philadelphia’s own Isle of Q. Johnny Dee (drums) Britany Fox, and Doro. David Lenat (guitar) Dark Blonde, X’s and O’s and newcomer David Simpson on lead vocals.
“ Our music is very aggressive. It’s explosive and listenable. It hits you hard and knocks you down. Then you get up and want it all over again. We’re doing what we love and beleive in this band. Hitting the audience right between the eyes. This is the first group in a long time where all of us have the freedom to do it like that. The fan response so far has been pretty much “ you guys f#*cking rock”.
After being granted an opening spot by WMMR radio in Philadelphia and Clear Channel entertainment for Alice Cooper on his “Eyes of Alice” tour in Atlantic City, Alice fans were blown away by an incredilble set performed by POWERVIBE. The responses posted on the band’s website following the show were proof enough that this band has what it takes to shake a hard core rock audience to the floor.
"You wait a long time to be in band like this....then one day you turn around and you’re on a stage with these guys. You don’t get a chance like this more than once.” There's a really great chemistry between the guys and their music.
The time has come for a rock band to crack the foundation and create change.
