NOTIZIE PRINCIPALI
Hands down, the most important aspect of songwriting is that the songwriter actually has something to say. Whether it’s a strong, governmental protest, or another heart-felt song of love and deception, the lyrics sung in all songs are the stories that stick with us through life’s ups and downs.

It’s from this place that The Words shape all of their songs. Without lyrics, there is no song, and it seems as though almost all commercial rock bands of late have forgotten this fundamental element of songwriting. Having solid, catchy riffs is no use unless there is something worth listening to lyrically.

Many rock bands of today have a few elements that make the rock idiom an exhilarating experience for fans, but few bands incorporate all of these elements into the same package. Some bands have great lyrics; some have tight, funky rhythm sections, while others concentrate on over the top production.

The Words feel that all of the things that are great about rock music can be done in the same package, and done by only three guys. They have just recently finished their three song demo and have been playing around Boston for the last couple months.
