DIRT ROAD MAFIA is a breakthrough band with the cutting edge sound that will revolutionize the rock world as we know it. DIRT ROAD MAFIA (DRM for short) is a musically rich group performing real songs about real people and are dedicated to the creation and application of their musical abilities. Originating from 3 former bands that are no more, they are all seasoned veterans. The 5 members started playing together in 2001, and called themselves DIRT ROAD MAFIA a year later. The origins of these notorious rockers are spread all around the middle Georgia area.
Their resume is growing fast, receiving frequent airplay on the Home of Rock n Roll Q106 and performing twice in the Station sponsored Battle of the bands. Davy Sangster represented the band at the 2003 Millie Lewis Talent Convention taking 2nd place in the singing competition and also played for the Blue Jankey Entertainment 2004 Major Label Showcase and in the 2004 Mid-Atlantic Music Conference. DIRT ROAD MAFIA has also opened for DRIVIN’ AND CRYIN’.
DIRT ROAD MAFIA has a growing list of 33+ songs that are from the inner soul of the band and are all original hits. They are currently recording at Atlanta’s own Tree Sound Studios. The band’s crowd base is expanding at a phenomenal rate and so is the band itself.
