NOTIZIE PRINCIPALI
Ill Groove Movement eludes easy classification. Some call the eclectic sound organic hip-hop with intellectual rhymes and no turntables required. A three-part rhythm section comprised of drums, bass, and guitar provide the hooks that accompany the fresh flows from a talented tandem of emcees: Professor and Catalyst.

The vibe is one part funk, one part jazz, a dash of rock, and a hint of pop sensibility-rolled up and burned down to make you move; to make you funk; to make your head bob and your mind throb with infectious rhymes and rhythms.

Ill Groove hails from downtown Milwaukee and has been playing venues since early 2002. Ill Groove’s following has begun to swell while the band continues playing shows throughout the Milwaukee County area, recording their first LP, The ILLiad, and expanding “The Movement” to souls in the greater Midwest.

Ill Groove Movement consists of five minds (Davin Hanson on Bass; Adam Lovinus on Guitar; Steve Kulwicki on Drums; Professor and Catalyst on vocals and rhymes) collectively creating sound with sense, banded together as one voice.
