Room 217 is a Chicago based alternative rock band. Drummer Brian Sokolowski and guitarist Frank Pirruccello met at an audition and have been playing together ever since. When bass player Steve DiDomenico joined the group, they had an excellent sound and found that their playing styles gelled instantly.

They then met up with singer Sara Schnarr when she butted into Brian's improv session at a local party, (after Frank befriended her by escorting her to the beer)...

In no time at all the musical chemistry between the four was locked into place. The band=s final addition Steve Pirruccello was brought into the group to add fullness and flavor with his rhythm guitar parts, completing the band=s sound.

The group now meets to master their innovative sounds in the luxury of a Niles basement. This band is here to become a part of the rising movement against generic sounds and songs with no depth, and against brainwashing empty music that consumes and destroys minds. This band is here to introduce once again, some songs with substance.
