Remains of Troy, like the now ruined city that provides their name, has endured its fair share of battles - both private and collectively. Hailing from various points of New Hampshire, Remains of Troy is a group of ecclectic personalities gathered for the purpose of creating music that is both beautiful and brutal, as well inspiring and heartfelt. After an extended hiatus and frequent member changes, a new (and best to date) line-up of Remains of Troy returns. Fifield (formerly of Even Heroes Bleed) and Kern make a remarkable addition to the group, bringing with them influences that perfectly compliment Monas's powerhouse vocals and guitar,as well as Langone's subtle yet frenetic drumming. The name "Remains of Troy" has become an ironic metaphor for the on again off again status of the band. Like Troy before it, the band has been destroyed from the inside; but within the ruins lies an inspiration and resolve to rebuild - better, stronger than before.
