During the eighties, the premiere roots reggae outfit in monmtreal was the JAH CHILDREN BAND. Familiar faces in the crowd sang along to "jail House, I and I was born, Priates in the city, Reggae Rock" and other JAH CHILDREN standard... some of which are on the cd MESSAGE FOR THE WORLD. You could meet your friends at the rising sun club, order a beer and have a puff in the corner or dance to JAH CHILDREN. The smoke thickens by 3:00am, but you still want more. MESSAGE FOR THE WORLD brings you back some of these memories. Play the cd and suddenly you see the dancer in the white suit, the waitresses, the ring of dreads and the fans that follow the band. In Knowlton, Quebec, the sun did come out when JAH CHILDREN hit the stage.
