CERCA TRA LE BAND
WORLD
NOTIZIE PRINCIPALI
Daylight was formed in 2002 by guitarist Joe Bastura and keyboardist Yuri Lysoivanov as an instrumental progressive rock band. In 2003, they added drummer Dave Stephens and bass player Brandon Oberkrieser to round out the typical four-person “power quartet”. In other words they were just like Rush, except that band could do it with only three people.
After ridiculous amounts of practicing and one show, they decided they wanted to try something more marketable and officially declared themselves a “hard rock” band. They enlisted the services of Sarah Uhle, a talented and energetic (and by energetic, we mean really energetic) female vocalist. They then crawled into the ensemble rooms and started writing rock songs not unlike a bunch of monkeys attempting to write Shakespeare. So according to probability, they would eventually succeed.
