The Slowpanic Sweethearts was formed as an outgrowth of well-known Stockholm rock act "Amplifire" in the fall of 2003. Ukke, Victor and Oscar had just left the band when they teamed up with Roxy Star frontman Love Utterström on lead vocals.

They quickly formed a very strong and unique unit, and began writing songs.

The Slowpanic Sweethearts is in fact the band set to earth to once and for all save rock and roll and shows everybody that in can be done in a new, fresh, unique and inspiring way.
