Noonblue hails from Orlando, Florida, in the armpit of America. A hard and at times progressive rock band with a sound all for themselves. While citing influences from A Perfect Circle to Deftones to Swedish metal kings Meshuggah, Noonblue is not an easily classifiable band. From uptempo, emotional tracks such as “Questioned Occurrence” to the machine-like grinding of “Untitled”, no song sounds the same and there is no filler here. The band started out as highschool friends. Ian(vocals, guitar), Radhames (Guitar) and Alec(bass) played in different bands around town together but not until they met Mike(drums) did the quartet form to mould their own sound. Noonblue deals with themes of loss, lies, confusion, disdain and the search for new direction. The band stems from a passion to create, not the need for acceptance. Noonblue creates and plays music for themselves in the hope that others feel the same way they do.
