MOSAIC is a Progressive Rock band from St. Louis. Their mission is to create original music. MOSAIC consists of five members who met while attending Fort Zumwalt West High. Mosaic was first assembled by Anthony (vocals) and Chris (guitar) who saught out to create music unlike anything that was being heard on the local music scene in the midwest. In the summer of 2004 Shawn (drums) and Andy (bass) were added to the group and they made their first recordings, including a cover of Louie Armstrong's "St. James Infirmiry", a mere 3 weeks after assembling. Mosaic played their first show at the Midwest Music Pit on November 17th, 2004. At, the last minute, a trumpet player (Zack) was added to the mix, which provided a special touch to further separate them from the other bands around them. Mosaic was very well recieved at the first show. They have since then, switched drummers from Shawn to Sean. They continue to write new music and play new shows so be sure to check them out.
