We began in the 2nd quarter of 2004, right before summer. Several line-up changes have taken place since then, and a sturdy foundation was formed in late 2004. Evil Illegal is a new breed of band that is hard the classify. If you had to label it I guess you could say the music is only feeling. Their sounds ahve no walls, anything goes at any time. If the band feels like making a jazz song, they will, if they feel like making a metal song, they just might do it. It's a real open sound that many can enjoy. Their current set consits of about 14 songs, but substitutions are made for each show. The average length of their songs is only 2:45 seconds, only because repetiveness is never part of the equation. Though most of their songs are typically short, they due like to go all out sometimes and have some 5 or 6 minute songs, like the Improv, which consists of a basic outline of what they will do for the first 1/4th then they go wild and say, and play what ever they want until they feel they got their point across.
