/ Virginia Beach / ...It was the summer of the year 2001, when two ordinary punk kids, Patrick Smith and Jay Tuthill, combined their creative energy to become an acoustic duo called, Coffee House Heroes. After the summer, they decided to search high and low for a perfect addition to their team. While in Merritt Island, Fl. they discovered the perfect bassist, Tony Kehoe. Tony knew that he had to do his duty as a hero and join this fantastic duo, so he packed up and flew to Virginia Beach, to join them and become Down 2 This. Yet something wasn’t right! Yes they were rockin the town already, but they needed more. In May of 2004, the group came across a monster on drums, Robby Young. After challenging many talents on guitar, Eric Tuthill,a former member, and younger brother to Jay, stepped up and took on the spot. They were startled at first but later tamed the beast and took him in to what is now called HEROES 4 HIRE.
Currently they have released their debut 5 song EP, and are always looking to book shows as they continue on their quest of rockin out and breakin' hearts!
