Put aside your usual style and genre classifications because it is impossible to stereotype Hold The Light. The Hamilton based band members come from various backgrounds and musical experiences. Singer and guitar player Clayton Le Mee's iron determination and passion for creating ignites the music and infuses the songs with depth and energy. His vocals evoke strong emotion with the use of powerful screams and contrasting whispers. His influences come from the late seventies and groundbreaking artists of the nineties. Guitarist Mike Cometto takes his influences from the legendary rock bands of the 60's , 70's and early 90's and cranks out killer solos that could rival those of his idols. Bass player Jay Caputo adds imaginative bass lines that compliment each songs and add depth to the music. Drummer Daryl Lariviere takes his influences from the Hard Rock/Metal of the 80's, 90's as well as the Drummers of Today. His concentration and hard style make sure every bit of his kit is used and takes a real beating.
