CIO is a mix of many different styles, anything from ska to punk to even some folk rock and funk. One day just about 3 years ago Brad Cook was in Chemistry class and met this loveable scamp named Dan Smyth. Dan was the kind of kid who liked starting fires but too scared to go near them, he had a lot of trouble with the bunsen burner. Brad asked him if he wanted to start a ska band, Dan said yes. Then bassist Dancy Chiriboga joined up. Horn players came and went. Drummers came and went. Since March 25th, 2005 they've stayed the same, and don't plan on changing any time soon.
