Static Noise e il loro Metal cross over

Static Noise, a new-metalband founded in 2001 by Laurens, Thomas, Tiemen and Joris, has become a real statement in the metalscene of Tilburg. The music they bring forth is best described as loud, progressive metal with melodic influences and sreaming guitars. A powerful distortion combined with loud, raw grunts are varied with broken chords and multiple vocal parts. This colourful mix is supported by tight drumlines and a rumbling bass.

Their first EP, released in 2004, was accepted with great entousiasm in the metal scene. But the feeling of a missing link became greater, and so Robin van Poppel was asked to enforce the wall of noise the band produces, and with great succes! In and around Tilburg, the gigs piled up. Shows on Festival Mundial, Virus Afterparty, with F.R.E.U.D. and lots of more came up.

With the release of their second EP "Disfigured" in 2005, Static Noise will aim for more gigs outside the Tilburg regions and enlarge their name in the Netherlands. They will continuously develope, write songs, perform live and surprise the metal-favouring scene of Holland with new music and superb shows.
