Strike in Time started early 2003, after Guy and Frank had put up a search on the internet for musicians to join them to form a new hardcore band. Tom and Thomas responded and after a little bit of talking and drinking it was a fact, a new band was born. They started rehearsing, writing songs and do some coversongs, and when the year had finished they were ready to do some gigs, the only problem was that the bassguitar was still unoccupied. So they asked Patrick Puh to join them to help them out during those few gigs. As cool as Puh was he did what they asked and fucked up those few shows :) Strike in Time thanked him for that and continued their search for a bassplayer. It was halfway 2004 when Tom met Joris at the 013 venue and asked him to join them, and after a little bit of thinking Joris decided to pick up his Washguitar again to complete the puzzle. A year past by while they did a lot of rehearsing, several gigs and wrote some new songs, and finally they were ready to record some songs early summer of 2005 at The Midas Studio in Lokeren (Belgium). During all those time Maurits (ex-resentment) occasionally did some guest-vocals on some songs, and he also lended his throat on the song 'Left For Nothing' during the recordings. The result of this was that everyone in the band liked this song most of all songs from the promo cd, and that resulted in the band asking Maurits to join the band. After a little bit of thinking Maurits wanted to give it a try. Now the band is working on new songs with Maurits as 2nd vocalist... and that's the story so far.
