Every once in a while a band comes along to give society a kick in the teeth to remind them that the world of Hard Rock is not DEAD! Approaching Zero is just that band!
Accomplishing much in their short two year stint, such as becoming a finalist on MTV’s Battle for Ozzfest, as well as doing many live appearances and interviews on local New Jersey radio stations, these five insane guys are just getting warmed up. There is a history among these men. Brothers Bill (singer) and Joe (Bass) Hendriksen and (guitarist) John Mansfield go all the way back to the days of elementary school, getting into fist fights and stealing kid’s lunches. As well as Chris Dingaro (drums) and Freddie Dixon (guitarist) who go back to high school when… well, we won’t get into that mess.
Approaching Zero tries to stay as close to their roots as possible with the true sound of pounding rock. While letting their influences show in their music they still let you know this is Their Music! With the EP release of “Broken” they are hoping to take the wild ride to the top. Screaming at the top of their lungs to let everyone know that they are here and not leaving quietly! So raise those Devil horns oh so proudly and listen to the non-soothing sounds of Approaching Zero.
