4) All members of Renton Cannon write the songs and/or attempt improvements on songs always.
5) Do not merely be satisfied with a song let the song satisfy you.
6) Remember your roots and never deny them.
7) Live your life with the band out front.
8) Laugh until your head comes off.
9) Action is Big Idea’s best friend.
10) Everyone in the band promotes and books for the band. Certain places and people are dedicated to a band member.
11) The band must accept all art for the band before it is used.
12) Never hide under the umbrella of an emotional-band or performer.
13) The more experiences taken in, and the more diverse they are, the more will come out in writing and performing.
14) There are many forms of enlightenment drugs are just one of them.
15) Once fun is 100% removed from 100% of the band members 100% of the time then the band must stop.
16) Covers are always second to originals.
17) You can never separate yourself from your own art (i.e. deny responsibility).
