Foosa The Biography: In the summer of the year of our lord, two-thousand and four Dan Gonzalez, Sara Cerbara, Brian Kelly and Brady Hatin made a choice that would revolutionize their household and subsequently, the households around them. Musicianshipsmanship would be one way to describe it. Another, would be instrumablitism. But to quote Cesaer “Lupee” Hernandez, the owner of their local bodegas, “that will be ten dollars my friend.” Ladies and Gentleman, people of the world, may we proudly present: FOOSA! Understandably, a background check is in order. Founder and co-founder, not only a member, but the president too, Dan Gonzalez has taken the loves of his life and combined them into a bizarre cluster-fuck of immense proportions. Imagine if you will the pairing of stringed objects, pitched vocalizations and a girlfriend who is willing to learn an instrument and you’ll have 4/7 of an understanding of what we’re talking about. For those that skipped ahead, we’re talking about a band, named Foosa. During a weekend long ski-resort, powerpoint presentation, Dan Gonzalez slowly separated the wheat from the chaft. His mass mailing campaign to create what would be Foosa proved to be quite successful as over two people showed up to prove their worth in the eyes of Mr. Gonzalez, PHD (honorary). Those two people: Brian Kelly, drummer and more importantly roommate, requiring him to be responsible for one-third of the monetary expenses in the house, and Brady Hatin, some guy they didn’t really know that well…But he came and that’s what’s most important right? Yes, these two men of merit, made sure Dan “The Li’l Rascal” Gonzalez knew exactly who they were. Albeit, not before some bodacious skiing and hilarious hot tub antics set to the musical stylings of “Judas Priest”, “Loverboy”, “Dokken”, “Girls Against Boys” and “Shudder To Think”. The results, quite favorable as girlfriend turned to bassist, roommate turned to drummer, and that other guy turned to rhythm guitarist. Yes, quite a journey. But thy will be done, their quest has just begun with no end in site. And with that we bid you a fond farewell, cds and t-shirts are available. Or are they?!?!?!?!?!
