NOTIZIE PRINCIPALI
Soulever Lift, AKA Royal Flush and the Jacks of All Trades, was formed in the San Marcos area in 2002. It's members met in college and have played several shows in the greater San Marcos area, as well as quite a few others in other parts of Texas. Their sense of humor and interaction with their audience has won over audiences night after night. During 2003, they released a five song EP under the name Royal Flush and the Jacks of All Trades entitled RFJ Goes All In. It won critical acclaim from Tirk Wilder, who wrote the theme song for Walker, Texas Ranger. Tirk said, "It's better than a lot of the other crap I have to listen to." Well, we agree Tirk. Featuring the fan favorites "Clock Radio," which is instantly recognizable because of the Josh Grohman guitar intro, and "Party Rock," which is about the Mondays after a weekend catches up with you. The most requested song in the bands catalog was also included. "Nuggets of Freedom" is a touching and heartfelt salute to Dave Thomas, the founder of Wendy's. Audiences cheer for it and Soulever Lift is happy to oblige. The EP closes with, of all things, a country song. "Can't Say No (To The Rodeo)" is a salute to the citizens of Houston. Sure to get your feet tapping and your heart racing. Soulever Lift is coming to H-town. Are you ready?
