Maidenchina features the talents of Jon Li on lead guitar/ keys/ vocals, Matt Novakovic on bass guitar, Nick Novak on drums, and Dan Bullard on lead vocals/ rhythm guitar. They formed during the summer of 2004 when former Write Kyle members (Jon, Matt, Nick, and vocalist Ben) crossed paths with Dan Bullard, lead man for the Columbia Heights-based band Dead End Drive. The four versatile musicians began writing jams in Nix Basement throughout the following fall-spring. Due to educational reasons and schedule complications (all four were attending different schools), previously set goals of recording and performing were greatly hindered. They recently released their debut cd at Club 3 Degrees in Minneapolis and have been playing shows at various venues in the Metro area since last summer. What comes next? Only God knows.... Up to this early point in our careers, we would like to thank God as well as all of our friends, families, and fans for putting up with our lame mediocre of humor and our irritatingly genuine passion for making music!
